  • RESPONSIBILITIES: - Establishes and maintains high-level relationships with business decision makers (C-level executives) at major corporations with multiple locations within a specific industry
  • - Assists other National Account Executive's to work through the sales process in opportunities that are designated strategic by the V

  • of Sales to increase the close ratio's of these strategic accounts
  • - Can sell at the fortune 1000 level and above - Secures new accounts while managing and growing sales revenue of existing key accounts
  • - Prepares proposals and contracts to present to decision makers
  • - Investigates competitor products, promotions, and sales strategies
  • - Has a complete understanding of pricing and overall marketing practices
  • - Conducts sales calls to follow-up on all accounts to ensure satisfaction with all agreements made during sales process
  • - Demonstrates superior knowledge and expertise of all aspects of voice and data products
  • - Understands billing, rate structures, and pricing models
  • - Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals
  • REQUIREMENTS: Forecasts activities and sets performance goals accordingly
  • Frequent overnight travel required by air and/or automobile at least 4 nights per week
  • Bachelor Degree (B

  • ) from a four-year college or university; or 7 years outside sales experience in selling sales of Services; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills Experience with solutions selling and hunting for business on a national level
  • Above average proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Prior experience networking at the C-level within an industry vertical is required
  • Must have a proven ability to listen effectively and possess effective customer communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from all levels within an organization
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a sensitivity to understand customer needs and business issues
