Job Code: EMC-EAA-DL Job Description : Investigate and use discretion and independent judgment to define procedures and make recommendation for solutions
Use professional judgment to refer matters/questions requiring action to appropriate office, department, point of contact, or agency. Interpret administrative regulations and policies as required with the department or division. Assist in planning and implementing administrative improvements including organizational changes and work systems Prepare and track correspondence, reports, and tabular data from drafts and edit for spelling, punctuation, grammar, and format
Conduct advance research, compile and prepare computerized statistical reports
Prepare and modify reports on an as needed basis
Prepare entries and input, track and monitor data for inclusion in various information systems and reports
Execute database inputs as required
Maintain hard copy and electronic filing and record keeping systems to facilitate retrieval and record maintenance as required by the customer
Maintain logs in various databases and print reports
Plan, coordinate, schedule, and monitor meetings, appointments, schedules, conferences, and facilities as requested
Provide direct support for presentations, conferences, events, and other meetings to include preparing necessary documentation as required
Maintain and administer office-operating supplies; requisition, receive, and store supplies, ensuring adequate supplies are maintained
Expedite and coordinate office operations and services including maintenance and repair as needed
Administer, prepare, coordinate and facilitate travel arrangements and schedules
Support planning, execution, and liquidation of travel to include transportation, accommodations, passports, visas, necessary medical exams, country/security briefings and clearances, as needed
Prepare travel documentation, as required, and maintain database related to obligations and travel expenses
Greet visitors, communicate messages, and assist in protocol requirements for high level executive staff and visitors to include parking, greeting, seating arrangements, refreshments, etc
Provide office receptionist support, to include telephone support; visitor control and escort; limited administrative support; and other office support as required
Provide support to higher-level personnel as required
May be required to be a regular or occasional driver using company owned/leased or personal vehicle
Understand and follow administrative protocols followed by clerical and administrative staff within the group
Other duties may be assigned
Job Requirements : Associate degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of six years related experience or equivalent combination of education and/or training and experience
Must possess excellent customer services skills with the ability to provide oral and written communication effectively, clearly, and informatively
Must have the ability to prepare and write reports, business correspondence, and prepare spreadsheets
Must have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, EMC management, and support staff
Must be proficient in Word Perfect, Excel, PowerPoint, and in the use of the Internet
Current DoD security clearance (secret level) or the ability to obtain clearance
