Headquartered in San Luis Obispo with offices currently located in CA, HI, AZ, OR, UT, CO and other states, the company looks to expand nationwide. We seek a senior executive with a strong background in building and operating companies providing energy or building related products and services to prepare the company for growth beyond $500 MM. This is primarily an inward looking role with an emphasis in putting in place teams, process, accountability and management to achieve high degrees of efficiency and operational excellence Minimum of 15 years experience in senior management and operations with proven hands-on leadership as the President of an organization with multiple divisions and locations
Job responsibilities: •Direct management of all functions of the company
Overall responsibility for P/L, cash-flow and budget attainment
Successfully manage the company to achieve budgeted revenues and profitability within the cash flow and working capital constraints established by the board
• Ongoing development and mentoring of the senior management team including the development and communication of clear objectives, monitoring of progress and holding management accountable for achievement of company objectives
• Develop annual budget in line with strategic plan and then successfully implement and achieve both plan and budget
• Develop a deep understanding of the business processes and risks, and the primary cost and revenue levers
Use this knowledge to coordinate and help individual managers anticipate and understand the impact and possible outcomes that actions taken in their functional areas will have on the organization as a whole
• Build and maintain a company culture of passion, performance and accountability that attracts, retains and motivates the best qualified employees
• Work with individual senior management to improve process, efficiency and achieve operational excellence in individual functional areas and for the company overall
• Work with the Board understands how to manage people effectively and leads by example
Able and willing to dive deep, get involved and do the things that need to get done
• Analytical and very good understanding of P able to use data to measure, set metrics and improve performance
• Has or can develop a true passion for solar energy solutions
